Another Recipe

Here is one more recipe that I made in another weekend.
A spinach and broccoli pie with cashew nuts and cheese.
Really jummy!

Top Chef

I try to make a new dish every weekend. This weekend I made a salad of courgettes and capers and an oven dish with chicory and ham gratined with gruyere cheese and cream.
It took a while to make it but it tasted really lovely!
I'm eating it again tonight....

North Sea Jazz

Trombone Shorty

I saw some North Sea Jazz artists on teevee last night.
For instance a very nice and funky performance by Trombone Shorty.
I was waiting for Lenny Kravitz to appear but there were no
images available, so here is a youtube clip of his performance:

On the Road

I had a very nice day out.
I travelled to my friend A who lives in Emmen. We hadn't seen eachother for two years. After talking about everything we went cycling through the countryside and the forest. The weather was wonderful.
It felt like a holiday in one day.

Strawberry Dessert

The last strawberries of this week go into my dessert.
Yummy with vanilla yoghurt and whipped cream on top.

Not Working Today

I am home from work today with a bad bladder pain.
It is not over yet.
I try to relax and rest.

Nice Weather!

The Sun!!!
I kick out my shoes after work.
Jump into a summer dress.
Put up the sun screen
and relax....
Aaaahhhhhhhh...........

Model Melanie

Melanie is a new model that I didn't know before.
We did a shoot on Sunday.
Melanie will probably be Model of the Month in August on:

Spain versus Italy

Yesterday was the last match in the European Championship 2012.
A and I watched it at his place.
Spain, who won all football finals in recent years, won again this year.

Here are some colourful images of the event:

Waving Goodbye

We waved goodbye to colleague Karin today. She worked with us for more than ten years. The present we gave was a little owl for her collection.

Tired

Busy times at work. Everyday more to do and less people to do it, due to illness and absence. So tonight I feel tired and longing for my next holiday.
Also longing for more sunshine and warmth.

Photo Chain

This summer I am taking part in a photo chain organized by my photoclub.
The idea is that one member sends a self made photograph to the other member who has to make a photo that is inspired by the previous one and this new photopgraph is then sent to the next photoclub member. When summer is over we will see the complete photo chain!

Above the photo that I have sent.....

Temple of the Dog

The guys from Pearl Jam joined with Chris Cornell and Matt Cameron from Soundgarden in the band Temple of the Dog as a tribute to their friend Andy Wood of Mother Love Bone who died in 1990.

Here's their number Hunger Strike:
(one of my all time favourites)

Pearl Jam

Pearl Jam will be performing in Holland on Tuesday 26 th and Wednesday 27 th of June. I follow them from the beginning. 'Alive' was their breakthrough single in our country. Last night the documentary Pearl Jam Twenty was on teevee for the second time. I love them and their music!

Apricot Pie

Here is my freshly made apricot pie.
I made it this afternoon.
Ingredients are apricots, grapefruit juice, milk,
four eggs, vanilla sugar, puff paste.

Start of Summer

Summer 2012 starts with a lot of rain, a bit of sunshine and an outburst of pink roses hanging from the garden fence.

Sleepy Pigeons

A couple of sleepy pigeons sitting together, fixing their feathers.
I saw them on Monday in the city while I was waiting for C to have lunch.

Today in the Hospital

The head of the hospital where I work is leaving today. In his honour there was a party with VIP's and music. I happen to know the blonde singer above. She did a good and humoristic performance.
